The book covers all the concepts expected to be covered in Elementary algebra. The table of contents is organized and easy to use to navigate between the topics. The index used at the end provides a quick way to review formulas using the links provided. The reading questions at the end of each objective learnt is very efficient. This can be used to check for content retention.

Content Accuracy rating: 4

The content of the book seems accurate. The examples and exercises are well outlined as well.

Relevance/Longevity rating: 4

Content of the book is accurate. The examples and exercises easy to manipulate if an instructor needs to customize the examples. The choice of word problems are relatable hence easier for the reader to understand.

Clarity rating: 5

Content is precise and easy to follow through. Terminology used was well defined and the index at the end is useful in elaborating any jargons used.

Consistency rating: 4

The book is organized in a consistent manner making it easy for the reader to follow through. A concept is introduced , example is given then review questions before proceeding to the next concept.

Modularity rating: 5

Each chapter is further broken down into subsections allowing the reader to skip to any section without being confused.
Warm up exercises are also provided so a reader can review prerequisite skills before proceeding to the next section.

Organization/Structure/Flow rating: 4

The book is well organized with topics and titles well highlighted .
Skills are organized logically making it easy to implement.

Interface rating: 4

I did not come across any interface issues. all the links provided function as needed.
Charts are clearly outlined and the placement is accurate.

Grammatical Errors rating: 5

The book is free of grammatical errors.

Cultural Relevance rating: 5

All examples used are inclusive. I did not come across any words that would be considered offensive.

Comments

Overall, this is a book i would adopt for my Elementary algebra class. The content is brief yet sufficient enough for the reader to learn from them.
Exercises given at the end of each section are also reasonable. Not too much, just enough to be done in one seating before the user gets exhausted.
